NPK 17:44:00 is a nitrogen-and-phosphorus starter grade with no potassium, used where the soil already carries adequate potash and the crop needs root development and early vigour. The ammoniacal nitrogen improves phosphorus uptake, which is what makes a starter grade work on cold or high-pH soils where plain phosphate gets locked up.
Fully water soluble and chloride-free — suitable for drip, sprinkler and foliar use.

Recommended Crops
Cotton, maize, wheat, paddy, sugarcane, groundnut, pulses, tomato, chilli, onion, cabbage, cauliflower and all nursery and transplanted crops.
Dosage & Application
- Fertigation / drip: 3–5 kg per acre per application through the establishment phase
- Foliar spray: 4–5 g per litre of water (0.4–0.5% solution)
- Nursery drench: 2–3 g per litre at the seedling stage
