Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate (FeSO₄·7H₂O) supplies 19% iron in the readily available ferrous form. Iron deficiency — interveinal chlorosis, where the leaf yellows but the veins stay green — is common on alkaline, calcareous and over-limed soils, and it hits the youngest leaves first because iron does not move within the plant.

The heptahydrate form dissolves quickly and is the grade of choice for foliar correction and fertigation. For soil application where a higher iron loading per bag is wanted, see our Ferrous Sulphate Monohydrate 30%.

Key Benefits

  • Corrects interveinal chlorosis and restores leaf colour
  • Highly soluble — suited to foliar spray and fertigation
  • Supports chlorophyll formation and photosynthetic efficiency
  • Mildly acidifying, which helps on alkaline and calcareous soils
  • Supplied against documented heavy metal limits

Recommended Crops

Citrus, grapes, pomegranate, banana, mango, groundnut, soybean, paddy, sugarcane, turf and all vegetable and ornamental crops.

Dosage & Application

  • Foliar spray: 5–10 g per litre of water (0.5–1.0% solution), repeated at 10–15 day intervals until the deficiency clears
  • Fertigation: 2–4 kg per acre per application
  • Soil application: 10–20 kg per acre, best applied with organic matter to slow oxidation

Dosage is indicative. Always follow local agronomic recommendations and soil test findings. Spray in the cooler part of the day and do not tank-mix with alkaline products.
